GREENWOOD YOGA CENTRE
HOLISTIC YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE

TIME FRAME: 24 months incorporating over 350 contact hours.
Commences ~ Third course commences August 2007.
Concludes ~ Third course concludes September 2009.

All sessions are conducted at the Greenwood Yoga Centre on Saturday afternoons from 1.00pm to 5.00pm for the period of the specified module.

PRE-REQUISITES:

• At least 2 years regular Yoga practice in a class situation with a suitably qualified Yoga Teacher.
  
• Brief written statement of your own Yoga experience including home practice, class situation and yoga workshops you have attended.
  
• Signed endorsement from your Yoga teacher of the last two years whose classes you have attended regularly.
  
• Willingness to learn and apply History and Philosophy of Yoga to your yoga practice and teaching (particularly Patanjali's Yamas and Niyamas).
  
• Willingness to assist a qualified Yoga Teacher once a week on a voluntary basis for at least 4 x 10 week terms when assessed competent to do so.
  
• Willingness to comply with the beliefs and practices of the Greenwood Yoga Centre as set in GYC's Code of Ethics.
  
• Commitment to attend at least one Yoga class a week at a class of your choice either at GYC or elsewhere.

If any of these pre-requisites cannot be fulfilled, successful acceptance into the course will be at the discretion of the CEO. The participant will attend an interview with the CEO at which the participant will deminstrate their knowledge, understanding and ability with respect to certain asanas.
